We were told, that the Portuguese (or maybe just the people on Lisbon) really LOVED their shopping centers - and so you can find those centers all over the place! And there are even more centers to be opened in the future!!!

Feira da Ladra

This huge fleamarket is in the Alfama between the Church of St. Clara and the National Pantheon.

It is held twice a week on Tuesdays and Sundays from early in the morning until ???

You can find just about anything here - from antiques to clothes to watches, cellphones and cameras. You might even find your stolen camera here...... (the name "Feira da Ladra" means "Market of the Thief"!!!)
