This market hall is supposed to be the biggest market hall of Barcelona. The building looks pretty impressive and the inside is colorful and pretty active.

Just stroll around and enjoy!!! Well, I guess, I am just addicted to market halls!!!

Mercat Gòtic de Antiguitats: Antique Market

What a pleasant surprise it was to find out, that the antique market in the Barri Gòtic still was being held (our guide book was a little old). Nobody really seemed to know about it - especially not where to find the "Placa Nova"... Well, it is more or less behind the Cathedral - and the antique market is absolutely wonderful!!!

It is held every Thursday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
