Cinque Terre

by tini58de - last update: Apr 3, 2007

This page is meant to give you an overview of the Cinque Terre, a region which is a UNESCO World heritage as a whole.

The Cinque Terre is a coastal region with 5 colorful villages tucked on the rocks

Monterosso al Mare

Vernazza

Corniglia

Manarola

Riomaggiore

delicious food
Each one of these villages has its own charme - be it the harbour, the colorful houses, piazze, restaurants or beaches! I am sure everybody will find something to really enjoy!

We spent 4 days in Cinque Terre and saw a lot! This region is both for activities (especially hiking), but also for leisure - so check it out!
Since this is an overview page you may find tips that sound familiar to you from browsing through my specific Cinque Terre village pages. If so, please just click on and enjoy the pictures!

Another fine new page, Christine! I didn't try the local wines when I was there, so I have a good reason to go back. Hope you are enjoying this great sunny weekend. --- Don
