  For only a few hours stopover at Oslo you saw quite a bit. But as you already mentioned: the city is well worth to go back and see the rest.

  Thanks for thinking of me when you put up that bike tip! Yes, it sounds like a really good service. I notice it says "The New York Times" on the bikes. I suppose they are sponsors. (Never would have thought a New York paper would sponsor bikes in Oslo.)
