There are fascinating sites in Asia that have been named UNESCO World Heritage sites.

So far I have visited

Lake Baikal near Irkutsk/Siberia

plus the following destinations in China:

The Great Wall,
the Emperor's Palace,
the Summer Palace and
the Temple of Heaven
in Beijing,

the Imperial Tombs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,
the Terracotta Army in Xi'an,
Huangshan and Mount Lushan.

Haha, the great wall and the forbidden city are the two top dreams about Asia ! I forgot, of course the Terracotta Army in Xi'an

Very impressive overview of UNESCO World Heritage places in China! China has now about 36 World Heritage places. So there is enough to see for your, to make another trip to China!

Great page, Christine, as usual ! Wonderful pictures, especially the one of Huang Shan, it looks like a really enchanting place.
