in 1984 I attended the International Congress of the Hard of Hearing in Stockholm and in 2006 I revisited for my 7th wedding anniversary - and both my husband and I loved Stockholm!

Little did I remember of my first visit there, but the bits and pieces came back when I saw Gamla Stan again, enjoyed the view from the hostel ship - and yes, the Youth Hostel on the af Chapman has not changed much in the past 22 years - and still it is quite an adventure!!!

This trip was our present for our 7th wedding anniversary - and my husband discovered the heart in one of the windows in the Tyska Kyrkan and just had to take this picture!!

Very nice tips....Was my home for many many years...My sisters godmother RIP was married to Stringbergs grandson and they used to meet in Riddarhuset once a year. Will be back later to read some more.....Have good wknd.TIM
