We went to see the castles of the Loire river as our honeymoon -
and it was a truly memorable trip!

We visited quite a few castles, so that we even left out some of the well known ones, because it was almost too much for us.... In other words, we still have enough to see for a second honeymoon!

Tini, the Loire Valley really seems to be a gem for a honeymoon. Especially Amboise looks lovely. It looks like the German saying "Scherben bringen Glück" was reality on your trip. :-)

Good overview on the Châteaux de la Loire. Amboise is not often found as the most interesting Chateau! I prefer Azay and Villandry!
