You can reach just about every village at Lake Garda by ferry boat as well. We once did a lovely tour from Malcesine to Lazise via Garda. We had to change ferries there, which left us a little time to stroll through Garda. On this tour we crossed Lake Garda twice and saw many of the little villages along the shore - absolutely wonderful!

We didn't move our car while staying at the campground La Quercia.
There is a public bus stop in front of the campground that takes you from Verona to Riva del Garda - and is not expensive at all!
Please note: tickets have to be purchased beforehand!
