my history teacher showed us pictures and told us about the ancient history,
films on TV showed the beauty of the city
and quite a few friends have told us about how much they have enjoyed Rome!
The dumping prices of some airlines made it possible for us
to hop on the plane and visit Rome for one week.
We were so lucky:
we had our wonderful VT friends
Catherine (VT drolkar) and Gianluca (VT janchan)
showing us their city and taking us out for dinner,
the weather was great and the city...... - well,
see for yourself!
And since Rome and the Vatican are so close and mingled,
please do not miss to visit my Vatican City page as well!

Tini, how many men gave you yellow mimosas on March 8th? *winkygrin* Great accomodation tip and the pizza at Da Baffetto looks indeed tasty, although I already had a better one in Egg-Leo.
Great tips on Rome. My wife's nick name is also tini and she is also an artist. Looks like you had a great time, Karl
I had another look at your Rome page. Excuse me; Ciampino airport; not Ciampano. Ciao!
Fantastic page! I like the mimosas and the fountains and the squares!
Wonderful page...sterling trip!
Nice page, Italy is on my list for this year. Thought about Rome or Piza. Great tips and photos
