"Mont St. Michel" Mont Saint Michel by tini58de

I have always wanted to see Mont St. Michel once in my life - and in the summer of 2004, this dream finally came true:

it seemed, that it was not supposed to be - an unlucky star maybe - but it turned out to be a fantastic visit despite all the misfortune!

What happened?

Well, first of all I sprained my ankle two weeks prior to our vacation and almost could not go on holidays at all. And then I was not sure, if I would be able to make it up to the top of the mont - but I did!!!

Then, on entering the premises, I discovered, that I had forgotten my camera and there was no way of getting it back that day......... Well, but even that was not bad at all: first thing was, that I sat down and did a sketch and then I bought a disposable camera (the first one in my whole life) and had the most fun shooting 19 pictures!!!

So this visit will be even more memorable - and I really do love to think back to that visit!
