I have been to Morocco twice: once in 1986 and then 20 years later! Both times I was fascinated by this country, which was so close and yet so far!
The first time we went to Marrakesh at the end of a 3 week round trip and we only stayed in Marrakesh for a day or so. I guess I was so saturated with all those fabulous impressions that I just could not take in any more.
In 2006 it was different: I wanted to take my husband to experience this city of 1001 nights - even if we only spent 4 nights there! It was a totally different experience and we enjoyed every minute of it! |

The liveliness, the architecture, the smells and all those fantastic details made the visit to the Pink city a memorable one!
