Romain & Pascal: The LOFT

The second time we visited we decided to try the LOFT appartment and enjoyed it a lot as well! Once again Romain has proven to be a perfect interior designer - everything just fits! The loft has a very modern design, has WiFi access and a bathtub in addition to the shower, other than that the setting is similar to the RIAD. The LOFT is in the same building as the B&B, so that makes it two minutes less walk to the Metro station!

Unique Qualities: Everything is clean and cozy and the location is fabulous: about 5 minutes walk from the very central metro station "Castellane" (plus various buses) - and halfway between the old port and the church "Notre Dame de la Garde".

Romain & Pascal: The RIAD

We stayed at the RIAD appartment and loved every square inch of it!!! We met the owner, Romain, at his B&B and he accompanied us to the RIAD appartment, which is two streets away from the B&B.

Romain is a great host! He was so thoughtful to leave us a tourist map of Marseille in GERMAN, he even took his time to point out places of interest to us (and we followed his recommendations and did not regret it at all!).

The appartment is wonderful: it is on the 3rd floor and has a great view over the roofs of Marseille. It has a living room with a sofa, a small table and chairs, a TV, a radio, a DVD player, a chimney with a flame lamp inside and lovely little tidbits to decorate this room.

The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, a microwave oven, an electro oven, a coffee machine, a toaster and pots, pans and plates! Nothing that we missed.

You have a seperate toilet and an extra little bathroom with a shower and a sink and a bedroom with a most comfortable bed!

There is also a heater in the appartment, which is good, since the old windows don't close too well... But although we visited in November, we did not need the heater!

We were so pleased that we are sure to stay there again on our next visit to Marseille!
