For many travellers, Bavaria is the equivalent for "Germany" - well, let me tell you, it is NOT! It is part of Germany and really a very beautiful part: you have the famous Alps, clean lakes and historical cities. There are many scenic and interesting places to visit and I will try to introduce a little of what I have seen of Bavaria so far.

In a nutshell:It is nice, but Germany has more than just Bavaria!

Great page about Bavaria. As for Neuschwanstein Castle it is terrific, but the number of tourists in the top season is overwhelming.
