"England in a Nutshell" Isle of Wight by tini58de

Isle of Wight Travel Guide: 337 reviews and 615 photos

The Isle of Wight is said to be "England in a Nutshell" and it sure has a little bit of everything: white cliffs, hills, mansions, nice little towns - you name it, they got it!

I spent a few days there with a girlfriend of mine and her one-year-old daughter and we sure had a very exciting time (including a visit to the hospital and to the garage...) - and we all love to think back to this nice vacation!

For those of you, who would like to see more of my pictures from my theme calendar "Doors of the World", please have a look at the travellogue!

I can't wait to go there myself. I will be careful when walking the white cliffs.

A place most people from other countries miss. It always about 10 years behind the rest of the UK.

Prague it is, but I'm not going to join in the competition - you know where - 'cause I know how to trace where the pic is on your VT page. It won't be fun for the other members.

I love doors, too, as you can see from my new photo. Old abbies seem to be full of them! Your generosity is very inspiring.. I'll look into the Brazilian orphanage page.
