Tunesia was the last destination after having crossed the Sahara desert from south to north - Mali and Algeria! Up to that time we had already seen sooooooo many gorgeous things, that Tunesia seemed a little boring to me!

Had we gone the other way around - I would have been fascinated!!!

I have mixed memories about my trip to Tunesia ages ago. The scenery was splendid though.

Tunisia has a lot to offer but seems to hide it (mostly in the south). It may seem dull but was always the peacefull 'garden' of the area with people more interested in their fields and their beasts than by adventure

Great tips and beautiful pictures. Haha, you really made a mistake traveling from South to somewhat boring North. Luckily I did opposite :-) but had to stop :-( in wonderful southern Tunisia.

I spent a week in Tunisia earlier this year and really enjoyed it. One of the highlights was camping among the sand dunes of the Sahara.

Yes, Tunisia is nice but "smooth" and can seem dull after the full desert, the Assekrem and so! Haha, it's funny that picking up sand roses is now forbidden. I have seen that they used them as a building material for roads , walls, etc…!
