"The Corner of Ademús" Ademuz by DanielF

Ademuz Travel Guide: 8 reviews and 19 photos

El racó d'Ademús is a mountanious area that has been practically isolated for decades, which has resulted in an important exodus towards the cities in search of better life conditions. To this isolation has contributed the fact that it is an administrative island between Castille and Aragón but which belongs to the Region of Valencia.

It is the however the first territory of Valencia that was gained to the Muslims and it is also here where you can find Valencia´s highest peak? the Calderón Peak.

There are a few interesting little towns in this secluded region. the most important are Ademuz, Castielfabib and La Puebla de San Miguel.
