Porteños do not seem to feel at ease in South America. At least, they have always looked at Europe for inspiration. For this reason, French, Spanish, Italian and even English influences are remarkable in Buenos Aires. On the one hand, it may be a bit disappointing for someone looking for exotism to find a European like atmosphere after such a long journey. Fortunately, Buenos Aires has much more things to offer and is one of the most exciting cities in the world. |
