I've had the pleasure of twice visiting Ensenada and spending time with some of its poorest children. I have never seen a more naturally beautiful setting, and I seldom have the opportunity to meet friendlier people. There are certainly parts of Ensenada that are overly touristed, but if you can get away from the resorts and see some of the actual city you should begin to fall in love with it. The drive down from the border alone is worth the trip, and weather-wise the area has a perfect climate. |
