Seattle is blessed with natural beauty. It's surrounded by water, forests and mountains. Likewise, the city itself is beautiful. Its skyline, while not as impressive as Chicago or New York, is really very pretty, with the Space Needle (which would look out of place further east) complementing it quite nicely. The atmosphere here can't be beat-friendly people, good food, plenty for tourists to do. It's simply a lovely city, and being there always puts me in a good mood. All in all, the Emerald City truly is a gem.
