Well, I did it! I've packed up and moved out to NYC. Let me tell you, I'm having a blast! I've never before had the pleasure of living in a city I truly loved, so now I am thoroughly enjoying it. I've always loved big cities, and I'm feeling right at home here.
This is one city that everyone should visit at some point. Even if you're a small-town type of person, there's a good chance you'd have a great time here because this is one place that truly has something for everyone. No matter what you're into, be it history, science, art, architecture, shopping, touring, or simply going for a nice long walk, you'll be able to find something here that meets your particular interests.
I hope, for your sake, that you do get the opportunity to visit someday. I'll try to put a few tips on this page that may help. However, most of what I know of this city I know as a resident, not as a tourist, so I can't really be of much help when it comes to suggesting a nice hotel or a fun tour, although I've heard good things about Circle Line. Still, I hope something on this page will be of some help to you.
