Thanks for visiting my VT homepage! I'm originally from Hackensack, New Jersey. When I lived in Hackensack, I used to travel quite frequently to the Caribbean. I moved to Gloucester, Massachusetts in 1994 and worked in the local tourism industry. Once I lived by the ocean year-round, I started traveling to different places, soon to be accompanied by little Nathalie. In 2003, we decided it would be fun to move closer to New Orleans, so we spent two years living near family members in central Louisiana. After the 2005 hurricanes, we retreated back to Massachusetts, and then returned to our happy home in Pineville, Louisiana in July 2007. I'm happy to share our past and future adventures with you, and I thank you for spending time reading these pages and for all of your wonderful feedback!

This is my daughter Nathalie Alicelouise (notice a pattern here?), who at age 10 has grown into a marvelous traveling companion. Planes, trains, buses...she loves them all, and she tells me she wants to go "everywhere in the whole wide world." Nathalie has already decided to become a commercial airline pilot when she grows up, and I can't wait to hitch a ride!
