    • Like in the USA, tap water (eau de robinet, eau plate) is free but AVOID drinking it in restaurants, the water has a strong taste of Javel (bleach, I guess that's the word in English)and you may also find strange "things" floating in the water.
    WATCH OUT YOUR STEP when walking while in Nice, 99% of sidewalks have dog crap.
    BE VERY CAREFUL when crossing streets, local drivers don't pay much attention to pedestrians (and vice-versa!).

    • Avoid taking taxis in Nice. Reasons: 1) Expensive (pay attention how much they charge because some drivers aren't honest) 2) They drive really fast and some even dangerously

     Good new restaurant tips, I will try those 2 socca restaurants - esp Chez Pipo- now I know why it has always been closed before :-) I thought the Pain Q was a bit over-rated -had breakfast there once. Seemed popular though - must be location perhaps?
