I went to Vancouver for roughly the fifth time over the weekend. My boyfriend and I drove up from Seattle to check out neighborhoods, since we're thinking about moving up in July. It was sunny for the first time that I've been there, and it was a great weekend! Vancouver is definately the most beautiful city that I've ever visited, I just wish the people were nicer! We found people to be generally frosty. It's a very modern city, with glitzy highrises dominating the skyline. It has a feeling of subdued decadence, and the views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains and green hills give a lush feeling to the city. |
