Slunj is small town in the central part of Croatia, situated on the half way in between town of Karlovac and NP Plitvice Lakes. Rastoke is suburb of Slunj located just about half of kilometer before entering into the town. It is an area rich of several small brooks which makes network of more then dozen waterfalls and cascades before inflowing into the River of Korana.

Driving from Zagreb to Split in June last year, we passed through Slunje and, as you say, were so struck by the beauty of Rastoke we just had to get out and explore a little. Now we're coming back this year, with friends - this time to explore a lot. It is truly the most beautiful place - breathtaking! leyle

i was on the bus that drove through slunj, it was the most beautiful day and the town was just gorgeous! nice photos boris, time to write now!
