The Main Savičenta

A settlement of urban and rural characteristics located on the old asphalted Pula-Pazin road. There are various reasons for its attractiveness. Svetvincenat, once one of the cornerstones of the Venetian republic, in recent times known for the review of original Istrian souvenirs.
The settlement was mentioned in 965 as the property of the bishops of Porec.
The Renaissance parish church of the Assumption was built in the beginning of the 16th century. The mannerist style altarpiece was made by Jacopo Palma il Giovane detto Negretti, a famous painter of the Italian Cinquecento and Seicento.
