Bohinjsko jezero - Bohinj Lake

Slovenia is neighbouring country to Croatia, where I live. I am visiting it regularly, each and every month of the year when traveling to Italy, because the road leads throughout Slovenia. More or less, I have visited all major towns of the country, but also hundreds os small villages which might be considered as off the beaten places.
According to my experiences, Slovenia is the most beautiful in the Spring season, in patricularly at the and of May and the begining of June.

There is a number of good ski-resorts in Slovenia, most of them are situated in the northern part of the country. Rogla, however, might be considered centrally positioned. It is ski-resort nearby town of Celje, over 1.500 meters of altitude.

Thanks. I am travelling to Slovenia next summer with my family from the UK (I know this ones not over yet). We will be camping and hiring a car - any tips? particularly cheap car hire. Are there any local companies - not multi national?

Odlicni opisi i slike, stvarno jako dobro. Samo jedan ispravak: u Novom mestu, u crkvi, koja se zove Kapiteljska (posvecena Sv. Miklavzu ili na hrv. Sv. Nikoli), nalazi se Tintoretova slika (i ne Tiepolova) Puno pozdrava iz Brezica u susjedni Zagreb!

Yes, we are staggering and driving like mad from castle to castle, stopping only at wine cellars, taking a ski jump or two in between golfing. Seveda!
