Restaurant Name: Sasso di Dante
The prices in Firentine restaurants are exaggerated, especially in those which are situated in the historic center of the town. I had simple dinner in one of the restaurants on Piazza della Signoria, prosciutto con melone and glass of wine, which cost me almost 20 Euros. In case you order first and second dish, plus drink and coffee, it might cost you over 30 Euros.
Favorite Dish: Fortunatelly, there are small restaurants, trattorie and osterie, where the prices for food are not that exaggerated. Before entering, you should check the price list which, is situated in front of the restaurant. One of not too expensive restaurants is called Sasso di Dante where one can have lunch for approx. 20 Euros, drink included.
