I am regularly visiting Peschiera during my travelings to Verona and its surroundings. Peschiera is small town situated on the lakeshore of Garda, a place you inevitable have to pass through when traveling by car from Verona to Lago di Garda, if traveling by a local road. |
|  | The moat There is a wide moat around the fortress of Peschiera, in fact, the river of Mincio was used in order to fill the moat with the water. Today, it partly serve as protected quay for the small boats. |
