Castello Scaligero - Valeggio sul Mincio

Valeggio sul Mincio is well known destination, situated in the vicinity of Lago di Garda. You can get it easily by the local road from the direction of Peschiera, or by A4 highway at Sommacampagna.
Besides the Castle Scaligero, from the12th and 14th centuries and Ponte Visconteo, worth of visiting is the magnificienr cathedral, but most of all, the nearby resort of Borghetto and Parco Sigurta.
THIS DESTINATION IS, I SUPPOSE SO, OF PARTICULAR INTEREST TO ALL VT MEMBERS WHO WILL PARTECIPATE TO THE FIRST BIG EUROPEN VT MEETING IN VERONA, MAY 6-8 2005.

VT stuff and me, what a picture

Being a part of VTers who attended the 1st Official European Meeting was a great experience to me. Most of the people I have never meet or seen before but the atmosphere was incredibly friendly, like we were longtime feiends in our real lifes.
The last evening at Verona, we had big party, total blast! Even so, the VT stuff have remembered my birthday and I was totally schoked about. It was one of the most pleasent surprises I had in whole my life, which is not that short. I was deeply touched hearing bday wishes in more then dozen different languages from all over the world. It made me totally confused, didn't know weather to smile or to cry. I was expected to say something but I just wasn't able to. There was a huge stone in my throat and I was a kind of mute for a moment. Good God, I nearly had an heartattack.
Thank you friends, from the bottom of my heart, you made my day and I wont forget it as long as I live.

L'ho so chi era Jan Nepomuk e come e finito. Il tuo commento e completamente sbagliato. Si trovano tantissimi monumenti di Nepomuk in vari paesi di Europa, uno tralaltro anche a Valeggio.

S. Giovanni Nepomuceno, cecoslovacco venne buttato nel fiume Vtlava. Il fiume che passa per Praga per intenderci. Ciao!

Thanks a lot for the explanation Boris ! It was really nice meeting you in Verona and not only the size of my VT-T-shirt was XXX large, also the fun I had there !! I am really glad, G had some shirts in "elephant-size" as well :-))
