Name of Shop: Cavalli & Zegna

Roberto Cavalli, best high fashion stylist of Italy and in the whole world aswell. He is using high tech fabrics with own designs and his clothes is perfectly manufactured. You have to belive my judgment because fashion is my job.
To those who prefer classical style of man suits, I recommend trade-mark by Ermenegildo Zegna. This trade-mark develope both styling and fabrics and I like in particularly fabrics by Zegna considering them better than Loro Piana.

What To Buy: Not easy to recommend because Cavalli's clothes is very very expensive.

What To Pay: As already told, it is very expensive clothes, each garment costs several thousands of euros.

There are great number of shops in Venice offering prestigious works of art from wide world famous glass from Murano.
Some of the shops, however, offers glass works which might be considered as a tawdry, and you can easilly recognized it.
This one, situated in the vicinity of Piazza San Marco, offers a real works of art.

When strolling around you can find excellent shops offering first quality of food and drink. There is one in Via S. Polo called Mascari, which is located nearby Ponte Rialto. You just take Ruga Oreffici from Rialto and the shop is there.
Here you can have the very first class of coffee, tea, tartufi and, above all, the excellent choice of fine Italian wines. I strongly recommend to visit it when in Venice.

Name of Shop: Cosmetic shop

When strolling around I saw this girl in the shop-window acting goddess Diana or something. It was in one cosmetic shop and she promoted some new collection. Lots of people stood outside the window and I had to take the picture from inside, so she posed me wilingly.
Good way to promote a new product.

Fresh fruit market at Mestre

Name of Shop: Fresh fruit market

In case you have bunch of children or you're just a fruit lover, buy fruits in Mestre or any other place in the surroundings of Venice. The prices you can find here are twice cheaper then in Venice, and the fruits are definetely fresher.

What To Buy: This is (see the picture) Easter offer, buy strawberry of course.

What To Pay: One single-box cost you 1 euro, two boxes one euro a piece, in case you buy three or more boxes, burgain the price.

Venice is not different then the other touristic places in the world, tons of wothless souveniers all around the town, pretty much of which can be considered as a garbage.

What To Buy: Buy a souvenier made by local craftsmen, it costs much more but you wont throw your money away.
I suggest you: lace from Burano, glass works from Murano, masks made in local workshops.

Sincerely, I don't remember which square it was where I took this pictures, must be somwhere in the Sestiere S. Polo. Besides authentic antiques, but not of big value, here you can find lots of fake ones or remakes. One thing, however, I am sure, the second hand clothings aren't fake in fact certain ladies coats were in very good conditions.

What To Buy: Hard to say what to buy, it's up to what our interests about are. In case one have spare time could spend enjoyable time in strolling around, watching and even bargain for fun.

Name of Shop: Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton shop, which offers luxury ladies bags, is situated on the corner of an small square right next to the Piazza San Marco, opposite direction of the basilica. This picture was taken December 2007, before Christmas time and I took it because of the window shop which looks very attractive. The same decoration of the window shop I've noticed later on in the Rome's L.V. shop where I spend New Year holidays.

What To Buy: Those ladies or gentlemans who can afford to buy very expensive leather bags, over 500 euros and up, will enjoy in shopping here.
