The three stars hotel "Ala" is situated in the heart of the city, a short walk from Piazza San Marko and very close to Accademia. It is mid-19th century construction but newly completely restaurated.

Unique Qualities: The hotel is situated in Campo Santa Maria del Giglio, also known as "Zobenigo", in a walking distance to all major sights of the city.
The air-conditionated rooms are very comfortable and completely renovated by furniture in Venetian Baroque style.
There is also magnificent terrace overlooking Venetian chanels.
A single room costs from 80-170 euros,
double room from 120-250 euros.
It is highly recommended.

Ca' della Musica: Bed and breakfast

To all those who are on budget, it might be the perfect solution. The accomodation consist of huge room with five beds, 25 euros each. There is also an extra bathroom.

The main problem might be, how to get there, how to find it in again in the midle of thousands of short and narrow streets which all looks alike? The statue you see, on the top of the street-wall and this graphiti might be very helpful.

Unique Qualities: Ca' della Musica is situated in a short and narrow street inside of Campo Castello, probably one of the most quiet parts of Venice. The house is an medieval construction, inside of which the owner displays a kind of small museum with ancient furniture and accessories from the past times.

"Ca' della Musica" della Aurelia: Bed and breakfast

This is patio of Ca' della Musica, here you'll have your breakfast in the summer time. Looks very beautiful. Rooms are large with lots of beds, possibly 5-6 people could sleep in such a room.
Calle del Morion is short and narrow street in sestiere of Castello, very peasfull area and ideal for sleeping.

Santa Chiara Hotel: Very handy Santa Chiara Hotel Review

Unique Qualities: Actually, I cannot tell you much about this hotel because I never stayed in it, exept is is very well positioned. It is overlooking Canal Grande and just a foot from Piazzale Roma where bus station and vaporetto is situated. It might be very convinient to those who are travelling by car because two big garages are less then 100 meters far from the hotel.
