The mountain oasis

Definetely the most beautiful landscapes I have seen in whole of Tunisia. Wild beauty of the mountains, dry countryside and sudden palm tree greenery makes an unbeliveable mixture. First time in my life have felt real heat, it was 55 C degrees! If here one should make sure his head is cover with the cap and a spare bottle of water in his bag.

The old settlement of Chebika

This is where old Chebika was founded, close to the mountain water spring, but than deserted in coming years. The population moved downhill, not far from here and the only inhabited house is bar offering deep refreshing shadow and cold water to die for.

Palm trees

On a first sight is looks almost unreal to find green palm trees next to the burning look mountain ridge. It's not the miracle, however, small river flows in the middle of the lovely palm path.
