I am pretty much disappointed with Djerba because it is not what I've heard about. The island itself have little to offer, just a few interesting historical sights, one small town worth of note and that's it.

|  | Borj El Kbir The island of Djerba had important strategic position in the past. There are several well disposed fortress on the island, among them Bork el Kbir is the biggest and the best preserved. It is situated in Houmt Souk, which is the capital of the iskand. |
| | The Fadhloun Mosque The Fadhloun Mosque is the oldest sacral building on Djerba, situated in the middle of the island. It is not easy to find and the best is to take the taxi-tour which costs less then 10 dinars. |
