Well, it was part of my plan during previous visits and yet I always postponed to go to Nakuru Lake and watch "millions" of flamingoes. Are there really millions of them can't say but fact is the lake looks fascinating coloured all over in light pink colour. There are other birds too on the lake, white in colour with the long powerfull beak, seen from the distance could be albatross.
Anyway, Lake Nakuru isn't flamingoes territory only, there are lot of other animal species all around it.
Buffalo inspire respect by its huge proportions and strength, in case you didn't know it buffalo kills more people then both elephants or lions. It is for the humans, after hippo, second most dangerous animal of savannah. Buffalo is very unpredictable, sometimes it run away from the people (I had such experience), but good advise is to keep the distance from them. Fact is, single lionese would never attack full-grown buffalo, even if two lioneses would rather think twice.
There must excist the name for them but in Kenya everybody call them just monkey. Monkey dwells all over Kenya, very close to the mankind, for one reason only and its food. They are very skillfull thieves, able to jump inside the car, take your chips or whatever it is and jump out, in a blink of an eye. This littl family did it right in fron of my eyes.

Hiya Boris,nnThanks for the visit and nice comments. I must say you have some nice, colourful tips here too.nPaul
You really took some impressive animal photos in this attractive national park. I never realized that African buffalos are so dangerous.
