"Check WHICH St. Ives!" Saint Ives by Photographer

It needs to be understood that there are two towns called St. Ives (+ a 3rd much smaller village called St Ives) in England.

One is a coastal resort in Cornwall the other is a market town in Cambridgeshire and they are over 300miles apart.
Despite this many guides do not know the difference and happily mix the two up placing hotels in one town under the listing for the other town.
This is not good if you turn up in one town to find you have booked into a hotel in the other town because a guide listed it in the wrong place.
Remember if the postcode in the hotel address starts "PE" it is in Cambridgeshire but if it starts "TR" it is in Cornwall.
