Getting TO/AROUND: Schiphol Airport of Amsterdam is no doubt the second best airport i have ever been to, after Dubai International Airport - UAE. It's HUGE and the facilities provided on this airport are excellent.

Getting TO/AROUND: I am so sorry to tell you that i am greatly disappointed with KLM Airline and their service. As i told you in the introduction that i was really excited to fly with KLM but my excitement ended when the plane started to make jumps and other dangerous movements. I know that it was raing outside but its very usual in Europe that it rains but it doesn't mean that the aircraft should shake and shiver whenver it rains !!! i accepted it when it happened on first flight but after that i took 3 more flights and the same story was reapted ! Anyways, in short i would just say that either the planes which KLM haave got are too old or the pilots are not trained according to international standards. So, i would recommend to Avoid KLM unfortuantely. This smile on my face on picture on the Left didn't last long ! *

Getting TO/AROUND: KLM, The Dutch National Carrier has got close ties with America's Northwest Airline. Both of these airlines are partners in their 'Frequent Flyer' program. Most airlines offer frequent flyer deals that can earn you a free air ticket after flying a particular number of air miles with that airline. The bad thing about Frequent Flyer programs is that they tend to lock you into one airline.

Getting TO/AROUND: Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam is not the only Netherland's main airport but also the 3rd Busiest Airport of Europe. It is the main hub of Royal Dutch Airline - KLM. In the pic on the left you can see that my plane is about to land in Amsterdam.

Getting TO/AROUND: Schiphol Airport of Amsterdam is connected by nearly al the World's major airlines. It is easily reachable by rail from all points in Netherland in under 2.5 hours. There are many low cost airlines which connect Schiphol with other destinations in Europe. Easy Jet is the most famous of them. There are Many flights between London & Amsterdam from here.

Getting TO/AROUND: Schiphol Airport is 18 Kms south - west of Amsterdam city. It is renowed for its Tax-Free Shopping and one of the civilised modern airport of the world. It is so busy that there are a lot of planes either takingoff or landing ever 10 mins or so here.

Getting TO/AROUND: After reaching the airport, you need not to worry. Simply take a underground metro to the Amsterdam city. It will cost you around 6 Euros return ticket to and from Schipol airport. Metro takes just 20 mins to reach the city.You can find the metro station when u will come out from arrivals and follow the signs going outside the airport. You will reach a big hall and there is the Metro Timetable and elevators going to the plateform.
