BUDAPEST: The City of Buda & Pest

May 2005: Buda District in Budapest
06.05.05, Thursday:

After 4 days stay in Budapest, i have a train today in the morning to Bratislava, Slovakia. I am a bit sad to leave i must admit and it is because i got more love than i expected from the people of this city. Me, being a total stranger was invited to stay with a Hungarian family who knew nothing about me & vice versa expect the basic few details. In 4 days with them i feel like as if i am their family member. They cook food for me, help me plan my daily excursions, make phone calls to help me in my things getting done & even give me food for the journez to Slovakia. Amazing - Simply out of the world hospitality! In this materialistic world where the close relatives refuse to help, these Hungarians have given me so much love in last 4 days which i cannot forget. They are great! and i am sure they are not the only one like this, there are many more in the city with smiling face and friendly attitude.

Top 3 Must See Things in Budapest

1. Basilica
2. Matyas Church
3. Castle District (Castle, Fishermen's bastions, etc. etc.)

May, 2005:

Budapest - The Hungarian capital is worth visiting. The people of Hungary are one of the most easy going, hospitable and loving. I stayed with a Hungarian family and they took care of more than some of my own relatives! Hungary is also a good destination for history lovers and budget tourists. It's cheap to travel, eat & drink. I hope i can re visit Hungary sometime in future.
