Pros and Cons

Pros:Peaceful - Less Touristic - Full of Natural Beauty.
Cons:Too Small, No significant Night Life activities.
In a nutshell:If you are tired of the same touristic spots and love to be on a peaceful Island then i think Åland is a very good choice.

the dude outside the shopping mall is called Nikolaj Sitkoff.. he was a huge business man in the 19th century.. the shopping centre is named after him cuz he used to have a house in that spot unfortunally they tore it down in the 60's

Thank you for the travel tips, great pictures, and webpages! The tip for traveling by cruise ship is definitely under consideration. My family came from Åland to the USA in 1903, so it is on my travel agenda! Thanks again for a great page.

I visited Stockholm last June and wanted to take a side-trip to Aland, but couldn't fit it into the schedule. Shame on me! It looks like a beautiful little place! Thanks!
