Welcome to The 14th Best Page of Stockholm (mashAllah) here on VT.

I hope I've provided enough useful Info so that you can easily plan your trip to Stockholm.

24th October 2002 : Amsterdam - Stockholm:

I took a late evening flight to Stockholm by KLM Royal Dutch Airline and i am very sorry to say that it was The Most Horrifying Flight i had taken in my entire life. When the plan was about to land in Stockholm, it was raining outside which is very usual in winter season for all central and northern European countries, but the plane was hanging in the sky and moving to & fro and up & down. Gosh! please do not ask about that flight. I am sorry but i hate KLM because the same thing happened on the way back too :-( I especially chose KLM because i always liked the blue coloured :-) aeroplanes but i was very disappointed.

Anyways, I arrived in Stockholm. The weather was chilly and my uncle and my cousin came to Arlanda Airport to pick me up. My flight was on time but the luggage took a lot of time, around 20 mins to come from plane to the belt. We reached home had a nice dinner and i spent my first night in Sweden.

25th October 2002:

My 1st Day in Sweden: It was a nice day. Sweden & it's people gave a very good first impression. My uncle's house was 25 mins from main city centre so my uncle bought me a month's t-bana card (Metro Train Card) so that i can easily move around in the city. It was so kind of him. I went to the city and directly went to the tourist information office. As i came out of the underground plateform of T-bana, i saw huge shopping street - Klarabergsgatan, having all size and kinds of shops. I was impressed by quite a lot of things like building, atmosphere and scandanavians ;-)

Pros:"This city has got nearly everything from History and Culture to Skyscrapers and Sea."
Cons:"No 'Sex Life' because Prostitution is ILLEGAL in Sweden."
In A Nutshell:"You can not simply miss this city by giving this excuse that it is too cold up there ! I am sure that when you will arrive there, you will forget the cold weather ;-)"
