Ahhhh Copenhagen ! How can i take out the memories of you from my heart ! It was so beautiful to be in your lovely streets and meeting Copenhageners ! Alas ! as usual my holidays ended and i had to return ! but let me take back to my trip to Copenhagen ......

24.03.03
I took a flight of Ryan Air whose logo is ' Ryan Air - Auf Wiedersehen Lufthansa - Bye Bye Lufthansa ' , from Frankfurt Hahn to Malm? Sturup. Malm? is the largest city in the southern part of Sweden. The flight was better than expected. We arrived before schedule and our luggage came out quickly. It was a sunny day in Malm? ! I took a bus from the airport directly for Copenhagen and after 40 mins drive from which i took a little nap of 20 mins, i arrived in Copenhagen. As soon as my bus crossed the Historical and Gigantic 'Sound Bridge' i entered Denmark, which was the 19th Country which i ever visited in my life. There was a very special feeling of adding 1 to the total ;-)

My bus dropped me at the back of the Main Railway station of Copenhagen. While putting my foot on the ground a said a few words from Quran - Bismillah Hir Rehman Nir Raheem which means ' In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful'. Most of the muslim say this before they do another important. Anyway, so, i was in the land of DANES ! The feeling was mixed, there was a lot of curiousity in mind, and lot of thoughts of fun which i was suppose to experience in the days to follow. I walked upto the main enterance of Railway Station and first went to the toilet and then to the money Exchanger in order to get Danish Kronor (Roughly 1 Euro = 9 DKK). There was a Yellow Coloured FOREX money exchanger and i found his rates the best availble so i changed my money. Had a cappucino from a close by restaurant. Exchanged a few sentences with the girl who served coffee. The Most SURPERISING and interesting thing was that Most Danish people were speaking very good ENGLISH !!! because in Germany and especially in Switzerland i use to find very less people who were so fluent in English but here everyone was pretty good in it ! i was happy to hear it because English is like a mother tongue to me.

I came out of the Train station and straightly went to the Tourist Information office. After buying the COPENHAGEN CARD i came out of there and stopped a near by 'Cycle Taxi' which is known as 'Ricshaw' in Pakistan & Denmark , in India is called as 'tuk tuk or Auto' It was something must experience because he took me to the place where i had booked my bed and breakfast room on his Ricshaw and we passed by all the nice places of Copenhagen and got the introductory tour of the city. Finally we arrived at the appartment. He charged similar to what a Taxi would have charged. But on such a sunny day, it was much better to feel the air and sun kissing my skin and to see Copenhagen from a different way ! This was the time I started falling in love with the City of Copenhagen !
