The Ethiopian Capital | From the souvenir shop in Addis |
Addis Ababa is a hustling bustling town and it has got its own vibe. You must stay here for atleast a couple of days to feel it. But if you are archileogy lover of history fan then you'll find hardly anything interesting. I think before coming here you should not except anything and let the things happen to you in their own way, in Ethiopian way.
Addis is surrounded by mountains from all the sides but it does not mean that its a small city. The population of Addis is approxiamately 5 million ! Basically Addis is famous for its night life. People from all over Ethiopia and also from neighbouring coountries like Djibouti come here to enjoy its thrilling night life. Ethiopian girls and innocent and pretty. They have gor their own charm and you'll feel it as soon as you'll land on the soil of Ethiopia.
Its not very expensive to stay here. The food and transportation is cheap. Just be aware of the pickpockets on the buses. So avoid the buses but there are minibusses which are a better and also cheaper option of travelling within the city limits. Use them ! Generally its a safe city but you should aovid going to the small and dark streets at night which are always not very safe in any city. Otherwise people are very kind and helpful and you'll feel being great among them.
so, go to Addis and have a real African experience !
