This is a wonderful place! One of my favourite places in the world I think!

It was much better than I had expected, and I would have loved to stay longer.

The scenery, the mountains, views, valleys are just amazing, breathtaking, beautiful, such a difference to buzzing cities, traffic jams, pollution and busy days at work.

I went in October which means less people (but still quite busy) and less (or no) water at the waterfalls and lakes. Leaves started to change their colour, the air was so clean and fresh, the stars in the sky at night made me feel so tiny. I didn't do any big hikes and did not go climbing (which I regret), but I can't wait to be back again and stay longer and reach the tops of some of these wonderful peaks!

Yosemite gives you peace at heart, tells you something about beauty, gives you a reason to live and is a great source of energy and lust for life!

I went to bed every night with a deep feeling of happiness.

    If you thought Yosemite was impressive without the falls, you can't believe what you missed! I camped in Upper Pines in a tent and could hear the falls from my site.

    in Yosemite gabs früher mal einen querschnittgelähmten im Rollstuhl sitzenden Ranger -- Mark Wellman, der sogar El Capitan hinaufgeklettert ist -- sich mehr oder weniger an Seilen raufgezogen hat *grusel*

    Yosemite is great, I was there in September on honeymoon. We never saw any bears. Excellent photos!
