Monterey is the John Steinbeck city, small town atmosphere but the feeling of a city after driving all day along the beautiful landscape of Highway #1 with nothing but coastal views and a house every now and then.
I didn't see much of Monterey, just the Cannery Row area, which is touristy but I liked it. I knew I had Yosemite coming up with pure nature - so I enjoyed having all the amenities ;-) |

i loce the land of steinbeck :) Next time go to the Monteray Bay aquarium too - my favorite one on the west US coast! Great pages :) |
