Hula Shows are a must see in Hawaii... They are very much a part of the Spirit of this wonderful place.
The Keiki hula competition is something I will always remember. It stirred me right to the core of my Soul.

These young dancers were a magnifent sight. Would take no effort at all to think they have been doing this all their lives.
If I had the opportunity to watch this show again, I would not miss it for the world..

Dressed in costumes made from flowers, leaves and other foliage, these dancer looked magnificent. I have to admit this was my favorite... must be because I just love the Plumeria.

The Aloha Tower is a lovely piece of architecture. I am glad I got to visit this place, as it sure was worth it.
You can relax at one of the bars, and enjoy a drink and some finger food, while watching the boats pass by.

You will find some lovely stores in this walk through complex. I couldn't resist a bit of souvenir shopping while I was here.

Lots of interesting things to see when walking along the Boulevard...
I walked quite a long way, passed by some interesting architecture, lovely stores, the Ala Moana Shopping complex, and the Marina..

I also passed by this lovely lake, while doing my siteseeing along Ala Moana Boulevard. I was amazed to see the lake in this location, as the beach was also quite close by.

The Wharf/Marina was a buzzing with activity... every type of boat you can imagine, is seen here.

The Starlet is a lovely boat... would be nice to go on a sunset tour that was available. Unfortunately, I didn't go on one, but there is always next time..

The Norweigian Star Cruiseship was docked in Honolulu, the day Patty and I visited the Aloha Tower.
I saw it coming in, from my condo balcony, the day before, but was totally blown away when I saw it close up. This ship was Awesome!!!

We were robbed 06/23/24 at the blow hole on Oahu while just stopping to take a quick picture because we were due to fly out that night. Beware it's for real,,,,we will not be going back to Oahu except for changing planes for a more secluded island. | Hexepatty Wed May 2, 2007 18:10 UTC
