Hepburn Springs Spa Complex is Australia’s only mineral water hydrotherapy facility.

Wattle Trees...

Young Wattle trees are a common site in the Australian bush. A beautiful display of color when they are flowering.

Fall Color amongst the Gums..

It was a little strange to come across Autumn color in this eucalypt forrest.
So I couldn't resist a snapshot.. ;-)

Daylesford's Golden Gate???

This is the general picnic area, where the spring pumps are also located.
We enjoyed a lovely 'Cold Chicken & Wine' lunch...
Probably why I named this bridge
'The Daylesford Golden Gate' lol...

Hiking Tracks...

Most of the Regional Park supports a fairly dry, open eucalypt forest in which Red Stringybark, Red Box, Broad-leaved Peppermint and Long-leaved Box are the dominant species.
The more southerly areas are damper and carry a taller forest of Messmate and Candlebarks.
It is incredibly exhilirating hiking through this natural bush.

Natural Spring Water...

Natural mineral springs abound in the area. The Park has mineral springs located at Sailors Falls, Tipperary Springs, Golden Spring and Argyle Spring.
Adjacent to the Park is the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve and Lake Daylesford Central Springs.
Some of the springs have hand pumps whilst others are continuous flowing pipes.

Some Unusual Sites...

This town has many nature loving residents, folks that have literally gone back to living in the bush, and loving the peaceful surroundings..
Some even like to drive around town with some of the nature wrapped around their car. ;-)

Lovely Old buildings...

The Post Office is another lovely building, that has the feel of days long gone.
Unfortunately, it was a public holiday the day I visited, so could not see the interior.

Siteseeing...

Daylesford is lovely town to go siteseeing.
Lots of historical buildings to see in, and around the township.
This building (the Town Hall) is very impressive, and in my opinion, one of the best in this town.
