If you like being seduced by a nice drop of Wine, then you absolutely MUST do a Winery Tour. This is a fun activity, and you will see a good part of the region at the same time. Some of the wineries also have a resturant.

Directions: There are many Wineries in this area, a good idea is to pick up a map at the information centre, or go with a group tour.

Relaxing on the foreshore, in a beautiful parklike setting, with lots of shade trees, is very enjoyable here. You can go for a swim, or just enjoy a spot of peoplewatching... Nice place for a picnic too.

Torquay is one of my favorite beaches around here. The town is a lovely place to visit, it has a small holiday resort atmosphere, and very pretty. The famous 'Bells Beach' is in this area, so it can get quite crowded when the surfing competitions are on.

The Geelong Cinema is a lovely building... I am not sure how long since it has had a facelift, but it sure looks pretty.
Free Parking at Market Square car park during shopping centre hours; underneath the cinema after 6pm weekdays, all weekend and public holidays.. Buses from all Geelong suburbs.

Croatian Church...
I have seen this church many times over the years, and always wanted to take a photo... Well, finally got to do it with my digital cam. The design of the building is quite unique in this part of country.
