Geelong

Geelong, One of the many places, my Heart is at :) And one of my many Homes.

A beautiful part of the World, with many pretty coastal towns, beautiful beaches, and unspoiled bushland.
An absolute 'Must See'. (The Penninsula, Ocean Grove, Port Arlington, Lorne, Queenscliff, Torquay - (Bells Beach), Anglesea, Apollo Bay, The Otways, and, The Great Ocean Road, and that is just the beginning.

Fountain...

Geelong is aproximately a 45 minutes, to an hour, drive from Melbourne, Capitol City of Victoria. There are many ways to get there, regular train and bus services, but having a car is still the best way to travel here, and you can drive around and see the many small towns in this region as well.

Local Vinyards. - Geelong

Local Vinyards.

There are also many vinyards in this area, and excellent winery tours. Some of Australias best wines come from this region.

    hello i have just been looking at your photos they are great. i a few days time i leave england for a few months in geelong so i intend to walk along your lovely beech and town and see the sites. i will be in geelong on the 15/12/08

    This restaurant is not at Cunningham Pier and bus tours do not stop here, they stop at Smorgys which IS at the pier. Why write about somewhere you don't know about?

    I just wanted to tell you that Myer & Target are NOT in Market Square, they are in Bay City Plaza.

    I can take being seduced... by wine..lol.. I've forgotten so much of the lovely architecture there. I'm sure it must have been Fishermans Wharf where I ate at. Still the very best page on Geelong!!..
