Sanctuary Cove?s Marine Village is world famous. The Village is situated on the waters edge of the Coomera River and has over 80 specialty stores including cafes, bars, restaurants, fashion boutiques, art gallery stores, movie theatre and boutique brewery.
This is also the place where I had the best Pina Colada I have ever tasted.. probably the most expensive also. ;-/

Shop hours are 9am to 6pm and the Village is open to everyone every day.
Entry is free and there is ample parking.

Ripleys Believe it or Not, is a fun experience.. and as far as I know, the only one in Australia is at Surfers Paradise.
It is located centrally on the Gold Coast, right in the heart of the main shopping area, and close to the main beach.

Movieworld.. on the Pacific Highway, is another great theme park, and a must see if you are visiting the Gold Coast.

Dreamworld Theme Parks. Review

Tiger Island, where you can see the Bengal Tigers at play. In fact, there's so much to see at Dreamworld , you'll need more than one day to see it all..
I believe you can also have a photo with the Tigers, but that requires advance bookings.

Surfers Paradise has some of the lovliest beaches in Queensland.
Probably the Gold Coast's biggest attraction.
Surfing is a major sport on the Gold Coast, attracting some of the world's best competitors.
The beaches are very clean, and kept that way with a daily grooming.

There are Helicoptor Flights available, and well worth doing. The views of the Gold Coast are spectacular from the air.
