euro Fri Jun 13, 2003 15:17 UTC Nice page Bert, but actually Durban is named after Sir Benjamin D'Urban, who was (I believe) an english governor of the province of Natal. Maybe you heard the Zulu name "Elangani" (a big hotel), which I think means "place in the sun". David |
