Portland Travel Guide: 324 reviews and 548 photos
I spent a few years living in Portland before heading off to college, and still visit about once a month. Portland is a wonderful place to live and I miss it. Despite its small size (about 70,000 people at last count) it bustles with activity, while at the same time still manages to keep that laid-back aura that comes with living in Maine. There's always something to do, no matter what you're into. Museums, theaters, night life... And don't forget food! Portland has the distinction of having one of the lagest number of restaurants per capita in the country! So no matter what you've got a craving for, chances are you can satisfy it.

I'm intrigued .... wandering cemetaries AND a 24hr LL Bean ...... hmmmmmmm
Oh, you know how I feel about cemetaries. No wonder you acqueisced to easily!
yes...I've heard it's dead calm at the West End Cemetary...
"Sashes of pink as clouds at dawn..skirts of lotus-root silk. They walk on Blue Island, gathering Fresh orchids in spring." ("Visions of paradise from the Tang Dynasty). Pink orchids signify pure affection.....of "wild orchids." ;->
I dig cemeteries (well not literally). Great page, Roman!
